Howdy! LMC Dealers and Staff wrapped up another successful South Central Regional Meeting in Irving, Texas on September 28-30 at the Texican Court.

This is an intimate event that allows LMC Dealers from the area, LMC Staff and LMC suppliers to Learn, Share, and Network with each other in impactful and fun ways.

To jump start the meeting, key suppliers provided industry updates, addressing supply chain issues and their plans to overcome them. They included: Canfor, James Hardie Building Products, RoyOMartin,  Atrium / ModernView Windows & Doors.

Dealers also heard from each of the LMC purchasing departments. John Fisher, Purchasing Manager for Treated & SYP, and Sean Tighe, Senior VP of Purchasing, provided additional insight on the markets during their presentations

In the Dealer Roundtable Session, attendees discussed relevant issues such as developing talent and leadership and succession planning. Tony Misura, Founder of Misura Group moderated the conversations by introducing valuable talking points.

In true Southern fashion, the teams were able to network and connect on Thursday evening for Axe Throwing at Stumpy’s Hatchet House.

The event concluded with a tour of the Peterbilt truck manufacturing plant in Denton, TX, made possible through LMC’s partnership with Peterbilt dealer, G.L. Sayre. With 238 acres, the plant is over 700,000 square feet.

True to the LMC tagline, Building Business Together Texas dealers, suppliers, and LMC Staff shared a great week.
