Since 1932, Peter Lumber Company has been serving Southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia area. Founded by Hugh M. Peter Sr., Peter Sr. was compelled to start a business built supplying quality materials with excellent service at a fair price.
Peter Sr. passed down his business to his family. Since Peter Sr. there have been three generations of Peter’s who have helped maintain and grow Peter Lumber Company. Their success is all in part to keeping the values Peter Sr. instilled within the business. Now with eight locations, Ben Peter and McLane Peter continue to keep Peter Sr.'s mission alive.
