Jamie’s commitment, dedication, and involvement at LMC is profound. In 2015 she joined Team LMC as a Logistics Analyst. Her work focused primarily on rail shipments; she also helped dealers get the lowest costs by developing logistics plans that ensured quality, efficiencies, and on-time delivery. While challenging, her warmth and solution-oriented attitude, proved to be an impactful when serving dealers.
In addition to analyzing rail shipments, Jamie helped lead the Fuel Card Program to success. In the early stages, the Fuel Card Program was in a pilot phase with 7 participating members. Jamie has helped grow the Fuel Card program into a valued program that currently serves over 60 members.
“We’re talking to people where we know their business is on the line and our role in their business is incredibly important. The service provided to them reflects LMC as a whole. I take that seriously when I talk to our dealers.”
In addition to serving the Logistics team, Jamie serves as an ambassador on the LMC Cares Team. The LMC Cares Team collaborates to provide meaningful philanthropic opportunities for LMC employees that improve the communities in which they work and live, while fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration and enabling our employees to apply their skills in new and meaningful ways.
Recently, Jamie spearheaded volunteering opportunities at the Cecil and Grace Bean’s Soup Kitchen in Norristown, PA to serve hot breakfast to over 50 patrons.
Jamie credits her professional growth to LMC's warm, welcoming culture full of experienced professionals willing to share their knowledge. “The encouragement and mentorship I’ve received at LMC are priceless,” Jamie says. “There are so many people at LMC that have been here for a long time because it’s such a great place to work. Their wisdom and lessons learned helps prepare you for success.”
On November 9th, 2023, Jamie transitioned to a Buyer in Hardware. On looking forward to her next phase at LMC Jamie noted, “My logistics experience is so helpful. “Along with an ingrained sense of urgency that comes with logistics, I’m comfortable having difficult conversations. I treat honesty as the most important value for our dealers.”
The HBSDealers award promotes the role of women in our industry and recognizes leaders who demonstrate business excellence and make a difference in their companies and communities. These values are something that LMC and Jamie are both passionate about.
When asked about what this award means to her, she said, “It means that women are getting recognition in this industry, not myself specifically, but any woman. It’s so refreshing.”
“It’s a different feeling to be surrounded by women and everyone is supporting each other, “Jamie says. “It’s not about me or any specific individual; it’s the collective experience. I’m looking forward to being surrounding by women working in this industry dealing with the same challenges and working towards incredible goals.”
Jamie will attend the Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply event in Chicago on November 15th and 16th, 2023.
