From interior archietecture to the lumber yard, Holly Rodway has taken her eye for design and turned it into a thriving business. Born in Eugene, OR and raised in Canby, Holly is now the proud owner and President of Canby Builders Supply, where she combines decades of experience with a passion for precision and service. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the Unviersity of Oregon and began her career at ZGF Architects before making the leap into the retail side of building and design.
What does your business do? How is it unique?
Canby Builders Supply (CBS) is a local, third-generation, family-owned lumber, hardware, and cabinet store that been serving the Canby community for over 75 years. Proud to continue a business I grew up in, the city that formed my two brothers and me. We can help customers with every aspect of building their home, from framing and finishes to paint, cabinets, and landscaping needs. We strive to develop a partenershipwith our customers to achieve their project goals, large and small. We are proud to offer old-fashioned, hands-on customer service, the highest quality lumber, and interior cabinetry and design services.
What keeps you motivated in your career/business?
Continuing my family's legacy. It is important to Canby and the surrounding communities to be locally connected. Providing family-wage jobs and opportunities for our employees to grow into a career - it is a first job for some of our employees! It is gratifying to know we have impacted their future in a postive way.
