Kevin HancockThrough the creation of the Hancock Family & Hancock Lumber Pioneer Scholarship, Kevin Hancock and his family are expanding opportunities for students in western Maine, ensuring that graduates of Lake Region High School will have the support to pursue higher education for generations to come.Kevin and his family will be recognized at the 30th Anniversary Gala on Sept. 26, alongside generous donors who together are establishing six new Pioneer Scholarship recognitions this year with gifts of $250,000 or more. Their collective generosity strengthens the Mitchell Institute’s ability to invest in a greater number of hard-working, talented, Maine students who have big hopes for their futures.
In addition to the scholarship, the Mitchell Institute provides mentorship, financial support for personal and professional development, and access to a committed network of alumni and industry leadership."
