LMC Dealers are the best in the industry, and they often show their appreciation to the LMC team supporting them. This past week, Mike Hammond President and CEO of Hammond Lumber in Maine and New Hampshire, catered a special luncheon complete with lobster mac and cheese for the entire LMC Team in appreciation for all their work this past year.

Mike Hammond states “LMC helps us daily to grow our business and I thought it was appropriate to say, “thank you” to the entire LMC organization.” They are constantly striving to keep us competitive with the big boxes, one-steppers, and other competing retailers.

Hammond Lumber Company has twenty-two locations across Maine and New Hampshire. Founded by Skip and Verna Hammond in 1953, they recently celebrated 69 years in business. The 2022 LBM Journal 100 recorded Hammond Lumber Company as the twenty-first largest lumber and building materials dealer in the country.

Reflecting on the day-to-day business, Mike says, “LMC provides us with vast array of products and services, from forest products to building materials, educational events, technology, hardlines, kitchen cabinetry, trucks, and forklifts in addition provides our buyers national market intelligence often providing a different perspective that we might not otherwise receive up here in Northern New England.
