In 1935, a group of 35 independent lumber and building materials dealers got together agreeing on one simple principle: a group working together is more efficient than any one individual working alone.

From the original 35 in 1935 to the present, LMC dealers have stuck to that principle and by doing so, have become a major force in the industry.
